Fiora's update

Well, I've checked around a bit after seeing the new Fiora update (even trying her out at a friend's house) and while I do aprove of what Riot is trying to do with her (making her into an actual duelist insteaf of a glorifyed assassin) is a good idea, and some of the skills aren't bad, but the ultimate, that's a different story.

It just genuinely isn't what a duelist needs or wants.

Right now what people are doing is putting it into a low health target and assassinating them with someone else (like a Zed) to regain health, and when it is used agressively it simply isn't as usefull and defenetly isn't thematic.

What they should do with it is keep the 4 vulnerable point system, but make the ultimate give you a damaging or defensive buff when you initiate, something to realy show off that Fiora has decided you as a target, and will kill you if you do a mistake. The healing also doesn't fit, seeming more like a healer or druid or battlemage than a duelist. And another thing? Make her dance, Q resetting upon hitting a weak spot. Now THAT would be brilliant, Fiora activating the ult with the damage/defensive buff to allow her to realy go in and dancing around the target, dodging skillshots and attacks alike.

I would realy hate for this character to fall into obscurity becouse of the update, so I realy hope someone's gonna see this and maybe pick up an idea from it.

What do you guys think of her update, do you think this is what the character needs or are some further changes needed?

I just feel that with a slow, possible stun, % true damage and aoe heal the new fiora feels like she would do better as a tank than a melee adc.

True, but that's not realy how "the grand duelist" should feel like, doesn't fit her personality and background

she wont. she has low base values and scales massively with bonus ad. ive seen people try to build her bruiser and she turned out bad. shes not like irelia, who gains a flat true damage on hit effect on her auto attacks and scales with attack speed. the marks will always appear at the same pace no matter how much attack speed you have. and for them to deal a lot of damage, you need a ton of ad.

the main stats she wants to build now, are raw ad and cdr.

hydra is still core on her and first item, since it helps her in trades when she has to get behind the enemy to trigger a mark and fight in the enemy minion wave. her waveclear is also pretty awful. so an early tiamat does a lot.
