MMR
Im just curious on how come im being placed with high gold low plat and on occasion plat 2s in normals when im only silver 5. Games are difficult for me to win and I dont win often.

i wouldnt worry about it. MMR tends to even itself out. normals are weird anyway. a lot of it is based on the total mmr. not just your own. so if your MMR is silver V but you have a master tier on your team but they are all plats that is why. the other day i was against a master tier/4 bronzies. and my team was all plats. we pubstomped his teammates but he solo carried the game.
your normals MMR will balance out as you lose more. but you will still have games where you are paired with a few higher ups, but you can trust the games will always be matched evenly. you just might get dumpsterd in lane sometimes.
if this is happening in ranked then your MMR is very high and if you dont belong with that high of an MMR it will drop down as you lose more. your LP losses should be very low for these losses if you are silver V and being matched that high. and also if you do manage to win your LP gains should be ginormous (30+).
