So how's Zyra mid after 6.9?

Haven't gotten Zyra yet, and since people usually play her support, how good would she be in mid?

Also what'd they change about her passive?

As a Zyra main in both mid and support, I will tell you that Zyra is just not as strong as before. Though the changes may seem cool at first (having more plants out is neat), the changes actually introduced a lot of weakness to her kit that wasn't there before (and heavily overbalanced in this direction). Well she does full AP damage when she builds support items so just put a blindfold and and stomp the other team with your plants.

So basically just play her support, even though she still does full AP, or it doesn't really matter and just destroy the team with plants?

I dont think the plants even last more than 2 seconds in teamfight. they still have hp bars and aoe damage like mf E and vlad's pool and so on means bye bye plants in 1s. You are overstating there.
