Mecha Zero Sion skin release date?

Like many others I have been dying over the new Mecha Sion skin and I have looked everywhere but I still cannot find a release date so does anyone might know when the skin comes out? any information would be greatly appreciated.

Guys THIS IS PLAIN BULLSHIT! I'm so pissed that "THEY" don't even tell us a date or anything about this skin! I was so hyped a week ago, you know... I imagined myself getting this skin from my friend and then receiveing a mystery and probably (but less likely) getting another legendary skin etc etc! But fuck man, I BET THEY WILL RELEASE HIM AFTER LEGENDARY AXES event ENDS... And you wanna know why I'M SO PISSED OFF? As I promised to my friend, I would give him FINAL BOSS VEIGAR and he will gift me THIS AWESOME SKIN. So I did... and GUESS WHAT! My friend received my gift and a mystery... from that mistery popped up "FORECAST JANNA" and because he received a legendary... he got a new mystery... again HE GOT ANOTHER LEGENDARY... THIS TIME "CORPORATE MUNDO" and again, he got another mystery and got from it "Bilgewater Katarina" and that's it! MAN,I don't care if I'm not that lucky to get a legendary from the mystery chest, but I know everyone of you would like to GET A LEGENDARY AND ANY OTHER SKIN FOR THE 1820 PRICE! It's more than a good deal and this silence from RIOT is killing me! I know MECHA ZERO SION is more important that the other 2 skins( Program Lissandra&Soraka) but AT LEAST tell you clients straight and clearly if you're not gonna release the skin before an event like "Legendary axes" that is so profitable!!! That's what I wanted to say AND I know only you, guys, understand my anger! Love you all ! Have a nice weekend and new week!

Unfortunately,it's gonna be after the event. You'll get no extra +skin or whatsoever from it. Oh but hey! You're talking like MECHA ZERO SION is the only legendary skin here! There's still plenty of legendary skins that GIVES you extra free chest before the EVENT RUNS OUT!

One: you could've googled the release date and you would've learned in less that 5 minutes that he wouldn't be released before 4/11. Secondly, you're literally crying because you didn't get something free. You missed your chance, fam! Get over it! Do you do the same when you don't win something in a giveaway? I'm sorry if I sound a little harsh, but it was your mistake. I'm sorry if I triggered you or whatever, but i found an opportunity to maybe influence your perspective. Hello. Ok, Look. I'm not a noob, but by no means a veteran. I have friends with over 5500 games played but I'm nowhere near that. Anyway, I appreciate you all and I hope no one is offended... but this thread is absolutely idiotic nonsense. Why? Here's why. Riot is a well run multi-national corporation and owner of the most successful and widely played game in the world. It's really hilarious that a bunch of children (and of corse idiotic adults too) talk about how bad riot is, or how stupid they are, or how much bullshit it is.... Idiotic nonsense. Those people, and if you're on of them I mean you, don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about. YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY you don't have a release date? Because Riot is managing bugs and updates to over what, 600 models? over 100 champions? They don't give you a date because we're talking software. They DON'T KNOW the date because getting it right, getting all the bugs out, making sure gameplay isn't compromised... that's the important issue here.... IT is absolutely ridiculous and shows your ignorance slamming riot and getting all mad because you can't buy your skin. OMG. That's the retarded world of gaming and something that ruins a lot of would be good game developrs... slamming the developer because you can't get the product yet. That is so retarded. Like indie game developers getting death threats... retarded. I'm curious if any of you complaining have the slightest idea what is involved in pulling something off like this. So you don't know what you're talking about, and thank god you're not the one running the show.... you flat out couldn't. I don't care what kind of negative comments I get back from this... I do know what it takes. I own a software team and we're good at what we do, but we have industry standard problems. Riot engineers are breaking new ground because of so many "firsts" that they are having to deal with to put this game on. They are WAY BEYOND industry standard problems. Engineers develop special one of a kind hardware for Riot because of their special needs.... like massive DDOS extortion attacks from organized criminals. It's the real deal and there isn't a playbook for being on the cutting edge like that... and hey kids... YOU GET TO PLAY FOR FREE... you don't even have to spend real cash on champions... You may wonder why I'm being irritable but I'm really sick of all the ignorant BS that goes on with this community. Just because you think you have a cybernetic enhancement and you're the coolest LoL player in the world... well, you're probably a nobody just like me. So get your head out of your ass. Don't talk a bunch of shit about something you know nothing about and get all whiney because you can't buy your little toy yet. Riot provides a great product... so much so that you are addicted to it... They get it right, and thank god they don't rush their product just because of some whiney babies who can't get their toy. Well, to be honest, it WAS a bit blunt, but the point came across, I think :-)

Personally I have no clue about software and game developing, but what I DO know, is that Riot is doing a fantastic job day after day and are working their asses off to please us, the gamers.

And they give us the game, like you said, FOR FREE.

Of course I'd like to know when the skin is going to be released and of course I'd like to play URF whenever I want, but in my opinion Riot has proven time after time that they KNOW how to keep the game enjoyable.

Here something you DON'T know, HOW a game sells itself (any product that's geared towards consumers for that matter) is called a business model.

Here's how it works:

make a game (or product) and make it free, the core content is free for everyone to use and abuse
make a profit by selling DLC or other things in the game/app itself (think plug-ins for software)

So basically what you said is just ass kissing, plain and simple. Most games nowadays use this business model because it brings a steady income compared to 1 time payment or monthly subscriptions which isn't as stable as lots of cheap DLC to address all social classes (see 750 RP skins for those who don't have a lot of money but want something to make their experience better). More customers means more profit even if the DLC is dirt cheap, which it isn't in this case, 1850 RP is a lot of money for some people.

Here are some popular games that follow this business model: CS:GO (probably comes first in a lot of people's minds), DOTA 2, Planetside 2 and the list can continue, even indie games have some DLC to keep the flow of money going after they get a good and stable fanbase, some don't even wait for the community to establish itself and release DLC for those who enjoy the game and will surely pay for stuff just because they can or their ADHD kicks in when they see something new and shiny (guilty as charged, "I'm not playing this game anymore, too many toxic people and a ton of n00bs...oh look a cool new skin, take my money...PLAY->Ranked->Jungle | Mid....LETS STOMP SOME N00BS WITH SION JUNGLE").

So before you go trying to explain to people how superior you are or feel or think you are, remember there are people like me that will login only to do a drive by on your comment and enjoy seeing you squirm.

Riot is a record breaker company in terms of yearly gross income increase rate for the past 4 years and you can look on G00gle for this piece of info: "In 2014, however, it's shot to number one, and is poised to be the first to break $1 billion in microtransaction revenues." it made 1B dollars after only 6 years of business only from DLC, show me a business to top that ... and I rest my case.

Here is another idiotic adult comment but i think you did not consider this. This skin is tested for like 1-2 weeks on the PBE and it is already bug free so stfu about talking we dont know what is going on or whatever crap you placed here the skin is playable and can be released anytime they want.

Thats the same what i hate about Riot. You spend them a lot of your money, because you like the skins and want to help the game. But why the hell they cant tell us a date about the release. We are not the only one whos waiting for the skin. We all just want to get this skin. They get enough money from this skin so why they dont give us a free mystery gift. The most aktiv lol players spend a lot of money.

6th of April...skin is in the game... IT SAYS "UNAVAILABLE" and the worst thing is that I want to participate in that Draven game... where I buy or gift a legendary/ultimate and I receive a mystery chest... I hope Mecha Zero Sion will be in game this weekend! Draven game ends on 11th. Have a nice week guys!
