Not a complaint thread just want answers. I was just in a ranked game on LB, was winning quite easy then started to lose. All of a sudden, my whole team just voted to ff and i couldnt do anything with just my one vote. Game ends and i lose my Lp. What can i do? We were in no way stomping but i felt that i was able to carry us, i even stated that.

I was stuck in a lost game for 50 minutes a while back because 2 trolls wanted to lose and the enemy team knew they'd won so just pissed about. It was over at 20 minutes. Now imagine one troll could accomplish that...
Holding hostage is a reportable offence, but I've never heard of anyone actually getting banned for it, so where's the worry?

The difference is that ive, and nor has anyone else, been stuck in a game for 50 min by two trolls or even one. Then compare that to the amount of games that still had the chance to win if they carried on.

It is impossible for trolls to stall a game for too long, especially in the current fast meta, so even if you got in such a situation the game would probably be over in about 40 minutes. 40 minutes you can spend having a bit of fun (possibly in allchat) instead of complaining and flaming. The current system promotes toxicity too much, xuz when you're done ruining the game for everyone else the game just ends.

Getting stuck in 1 hour plus games that the enemy team refuses to end.
Makes playing shit like janna/raka annoying at times. If you AFK you get reported... if you dont afk you get to walk circles around your nexus while the trolls waveclear for 40 minutes.

If it was premades then most people would take advantage of this and just ff anyway for the fun of it, however i do agree with premades getting only one vote, as most of them would be in a call.

and ive never had this happen to me either, most enemy teams do end up finishing it, and besides your team would surrender at that point. Or be in a winning position

If the majority of your team wants to FF odds are they aren't bothering to try anyway. HOTS has no FF and people still just FF by opening lanes. In no world is Leblanc going to 1v5.. so just take the L like a man and move on.

The worst quality of playing league is the fact that you have to kep playing even when the game you are in is feeding you one bad experience after another (enemy team is bulldozing you)
It's a rare thing for a game to enforce exposure of a negative experience for the sake of the enjoyment of other players.
If 5 ff is the requirement than the community's only reaction is AFKing. If you come down hard on the increase in AFKing then players stop playing.
Which you're probably thinking is a great thing. Get rid of the quitters amirite?
Except that's how games die. You lose even 15% of a player base this large and a spiral effect takes hold.
So yes, 4 ff requirement is not just good, it's fucking vital.
