Played a bunch of recent bot AI games to try out some new champs... and AI games are now littered with bots in every match. Generally 1 or 2 every game... really annoying.
im sure its a non-trivial thing to check/fix/stop, but, uh, please?

It's a HUGE problem and I support anything up to and including a Captcha required before queueing for a game (which is a REALLY good idea since there are a TON of clever captcha systems out there that aren't too hard to add via Adobe Air{which is what League's client uses}).
Hell, Riot can probably code their own Captcha gate if it pleases them.
FatesDefiler1 voteshey, i got one better. so i play a few bot games a day to get first wins. usually jungle and play hard carries like morde or yi just in case there's bots or newbs. i see one of my teams today is all human so i think 'great, i don't have to try hard. i'll pick swain support, see what he's like after the changes.'
so i get a jungle nidalee who comes triple bot at the start to get her 'second skill', and ends the game at 0/9/7. adc jhin who afks more than half the game, making it a point to never actually help with anything ever. fizz who just wanders around the map getting 50 kills and not pushing any lanes, and a taliyah who is somehow playing the first game in their lives. 40 minutes later we lose.
that's right, a team with all human players, loses to bots. nothing i could do because i didn't pick a champ that can 1v5, i picked a 'fun' champ. it's gotta be pretty fucking sad for there to be human beings out there who derive their satisfaction from trolling other human players against teams of bots, and also a mark of how much riot's player moderation policies have degraded player behavior to the point where they're like mindless fucking rodents who can't see 2 feet in front of their own faces and they have to force others to lose to bots to feel good about themselves. it should have never come to that, i feel.
