Amumu and Tiamat

So I recently played a game of ARAM recently as basically Amumu Brawler and I am wondering why Tiamat and it's upgrades do not apply Amumu's passive Curse. I would love to play a brawler/support Amumu to boost my team's AP damage. I realize this is what his ult does, but I think it would be awesome and give him more build choices if Tiamat items applied curse to all hit targets. What do you guys think about this? Would that be too much?

the Physical damage items that dont interact with the magic damage passive?

They'd have to nerf Amumu into the ground over an AD item. As an Amumu player, no thanks. I'm not sure you realize how ridiculously OP this would make him, or maybe you do which is why you're asking.
