Can a red please explain how this happens

Won four ranked games in a row today with pretty decent scores, get into my promos for GOLD 4 and fail the first match. That's fine. Jump into round 2 and I get a SILVER 2 adc with EIGHT. RANKED. WINS. That isn't fair. That isn't good matchmaking. That literally doesn't even make sense. I am trying to climb the ladder and you literally attached a lead weight to my team. You gave me a player literally 2 tiers below me, as I was trying to climb up to another. The dude is sitting at a solid 24 points in Silver 2 and is put on a Gold 4 promo team?

I'm not looking to know why I lost the match, I sincerely just have to know why this person was put on my team.

I need an answer to this. I need an answer so bad it hurts.

The sad thing is this is true for every level of play. I had the same thing happen in my promos to silver. I got a bronze v scrub with 6 wins or something in the final match.

there is no real difference between gold 5 and silver 2.. and who is to say the silver 2 wasnt duo with someone else??

Disagree to an extent with the first point, but I agree with the last one. He could be duoing.
