Leaver Buster adding insult to injury

Before I rant, I would like to say that I support the leaver buster implementation. So there I was in my last game of my promos, having gone 1/1, and I suddenly disconnect from the game. I'm furious, hoping its just normal league lag and ill reconnect in a couple seconds. unfortunately for me my internet was down. I did my best to get it back up but it didn't start working for another 20 minutes.... At that point I know I've lost my promotions and I just have to swallow the frustration and try again. It is when I go to try again that I receive a message telling me I've been a baaaad summoner! I disconnect from a game from unforeseen technical issues once and I then get penalized for it immediately? I understand that leavers and rage quitters are super frustrating but not every leaver WANTS to the leave the game! I have to suffer because of an issue I had no control over. (not that adding 5 minutes to Q timer is real punishment when normal Q times are usually 15 minutes easy). Perhaps RIOT could look into a way to help summoners who have had a stoke of bad luck and were disconnected from game unwillingly? I don't know the solution, but I am more than happy to help think of something because I'm sure this wont be the last time my, supposedly high quality, internet I pay for cuts out at the worst possible moment.. T___T

Edit: I had to come back to say this. I just worked my way back to promos was in my last game of series went 1/1 again and then had 2 people DC at 5 minutes... I have the worst luck T_____T at least it wasn't me this time i guess!
