These boards are 95% made up of people raging post-game or complaining their teammates are bad.

I think the boards are meant to be a discussion about the game and not mindless raging about how your low elo shitter teammates played bad! No kidding! Mathematically, 99.9999% of people playing this game make a mistake in every game Its hillarious to me that people post stuff like:

"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WIN THIS?!@?!??"

"WHY IS HE FLAMING"

"why are my teammates such society leaching sub-humans, RIOT"

IMO Riot should have a stickied post saying NOT to post about tilt/teammates, keep the boards clear for relevant topics of discussion. But anyway...

If you are mad you lost a game, its rough. But raging doesn't help!

Who is the best players? Professionals, signed and inked on contracts that tell you **THEY ARE WORKING HARD **
For you to sit there and rage tells everyone else that you are angry, sorry for yourself, and not a good player! A good player works their ass off to climb, they reflect, they recognize how they messed up and REACH OUT when they're confused. Information is all over the internet about how to improve. No matter what there is something to help you.

These professional players don't play the same champs for a thousand games (not a bad idea imo) and think I cant carry any harder . When they are losing games, they ALWAYS see that they can do better. The epitomy of a good player is the ability to get better and improve themself.

As someone whose played their first competitve PC game in July 2018 and got to gold 2 this season, all while HIGH AF , i think its not hard to win games in low elo. Here's how I think about it:

Why am I playing ? To climb become the best. if you're not playing to become AS GOOD AS YOU CAN BE, you're wasting time. No matter what, if you're not playing to become the best player, then you're doing it wrong.

Who are these teammates? no one.

Who is my opponent? no one.

Who is watching me? no one.

Why did he do that? Why did I die? Why did my team die to my lane opponent? youre not good enough.

When will I get out of elo hell? when you ~~buy an elo boost ~~ become a better player.

Your teammates do not matter, flaming them WILL NOT make them better, typing in chat WILL NOT help you improve as a player, and in the end if you become the best, these games will not matter AT ALL except that they helped you build a foundation and become a good player.

I could go on, but those who care will find info on their own,

And those who continue raging and blaming others will continue doing just that.

The game is sort of like having a partner cheat on you. It SUCKS- you put so much time into it for THAT?? Could you really do anything about it?

Sometimes the answer is yes, and you deserved to be cheated on.
Sometimes, your partner is just a bitch. So you gotta deal with it. And play another game.

P.S. This is your fault riot! fix your matchmaking!

P.P.S. ^ that postscript is ironic isnt it?

if diamonds can create a new account and go back to diamond you can learn to be diamond too.

While your team won't hold you back from climbing long-term over large samples, it absolutely can be true for small samples. And there definitely are "match making wins" (not 100% lost but very lopsided performances) sometimes. Although, it's probably true that flaming them won't help. Within ~150-200 games, you'll be around where you belong.

I am not one of those pepole who would blame others formmy mistakes and I can tell whatvwent wrong in a failed gank, I acknowledge my mistakes and try to fix my play style to suit my opponent. BUT when i start to ask my team to group against the enemy team in mid (at this point i am 1v5 in mid) and they keep pushing their own lanes and keep dying to the already fed enemy jungler or top laner (one is around 20/5 and the other is 12/7) or even bot (ridiculous ifnyou ask me) WHILE I AM PINGING RED ! TO THE POINT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE PINGS (not to flame but to generaly indicate a present danger)... You cannot say that i have to stay quiet (and i dont even flame or anything, i just kindly ask if we can group and in case someone has muted chat i ping assistance).

No way can someone carry a game where both top and bot fed their lane to the point they one shot me with two skills while im against 5 in mid alone and my team blindly pushes lanes and keeps dying. This happened to me 4 times in a row when i played ranked (that was two weeks ago).

When i try to end it (surrender) i am left with 1 vote for (maybe 2) and the rest against. I have never complained over my team but this is just to much. I know sometimes i have a bad game but i have max 8 deaths, not 20. I know plyers who blame jungle because they died in angank while at 30% hp but this...

When i finaly won the fifth ranked game (a very close game) i stoped because of the fear of losing the 24LP i got and if someone ever tells me that you have to learn to carry or that elo hell doesnt exist (i am currently bronze due to the reset) i will tell them this exact story and there is honestly nothing to do about it.

While it is true that you must learn to improve yourself over everything else and over time, it does help balance things out. I pose a question:

8 consecutive games with at least 1 person going permanently afk right at the start. 32 games out of 50 with people going afk for over 1 minute. 24 of those games having one person or more going afk permanently at some point in the game after feeding or after someone else feeds.

What percentage of those can you control?

Specifically, imagine those 8 games are your placements?
