Quinn, Teemo etc...….. Whoever thought these troll champs were considered top laners is mental. Being a poker top lane is not meta, it's trolling the gameplay. This is the dumbest crap implemented to the lane. All I can see is making this gameplay in the lane bullshit. Only poker that should even be viable for top lane is Gnar since he can actually turn into a fighter with his enrage. Being a range pleb like Teemo is just being an asshole to a REAL top lane main player in the matches. If the pro's thought this was a meta then they're clearly mental. The game's changed too much and it's not just top lane ethier all these ADC's in jungle is just stupid as well. There's no real gameplay in these matches with these troll lanes happening. Too bad all the GOOD players that balanced the lanes dropped out of the game after the changes.

Gnar is worse to deal with than both of them combined when played even semi-competently. Not only can he beat them both in lane, but he has %max HP on-hit auto-attacks, which is absolute aids to deal with as a melee. Since he does mixed damage, you can't effectively counter-build against him in lane. He's also harder to put out of a game due to having more utility than other ranged top laners.

That said, I do think Riot needs to be a lot more lenient toward melee champions. When balancing, they seem to forget that being ranged is a MASSIVE advantage without question. In pretty much any video game, melee dps become progressively more difficult to play the harder the content and/or the better opponents become.
