Sion's growing health needs a buff

I feel like aftwr cho' gath's infinite ulti scaling really kind of messed over Sion and him being a unique champion in league that let him gain health indefinitely. I mean he still can but after Cho starts lvling up his ulti, he out scales Sion really hard mid and laten Which that really effects Sion's worthfulness. What could be done to help make Sion stand out more? Like maybe give him more health per kill (like season 3 sion) or give him small amounts of armour/armor or ad based off of the passivly gained health.

Or just make Sion's scalings not shit. I'm pretty sure Cho'gath still has good per level scalings.

I think they should buff his Shield values (W), so it actually has more impact in the Late Game. And maybe just another look at his Passive?

I'm not really sure what they can do, all stacking champions tend to have great Power Spikes in the Mid-Game (when reaching X amount of stacks and Y core items), while in the Late Game their weaknesses make them feel mediocre, despite their advantageous mechanic.

Thats true. Mid game stackers (Nasus, Sion, Cho' Gath, and Veigar) do really shine in mid game and depending on how they are play or played against will determine if they are going to be unstopable or just another champion. The issue im finding is Cho's ulti gives him 80 bonus health per stack at lvl 1 and 140 bonus health per stack at lvl 3. Meanwhile Sion gets 2 bonus health per minion or 10 per large minion or champion. So for Sion to get the equivalent of 1 Cho' stack he needs about 3 waves of minions to gain a total of 46 health in total (2 waves of 3 melee and 3 casters and 1 wave. Of 3 melee 3 casters and a cannon) which is reasonable. Which takes 1.5 minutes in total so you would actually outscale him in the start. But as Cho' increases his ulti lvl and gets CDR. Sion will fall off hard in total health as at 40% CDR and lvl 3 Cho' Gath ult it takes 40ish seconds to cooldown.

Or give him half decent base health. Really hate this habit Riot has to counteract champion's strengths (Sion health farm) by nerfing their base values (Sion has terrible base health for a tank).

there is some differences cho actually gains damage on ult from the health as well as bigger aoe on his spikes

meanwhile sion just gets health and even then, cho gains way more health

i like your idea of extra resistances and ad scaling with his farmed health, even health regen would be nice, just something would be nice

personally i would both give him better stat growth to a degree and then improve his hp growth by giving him 25hp for champion and epic monster takedowns to incentivize team fighting and contesting objectives since he is supposed to be doing that sort of thing anyway, as well as roaming for ganks with his ult improve his passive by making it immune to slows since almost every champion as a slow or cc and if not they buy those and at that point the only thing the passive is good for is dancing

give his ult an extra %hp damage ratio, you are supposed to dodge that not face tank it you should suffer the consequences for getting hit by a train

Sion's good where he is.

Unless you want to nerf his early power in lane, of course.

Holy shit this post is so stupid. Just stop.

Perhaps change Sion's W to health scaling magic damage, instead of just AP. That way the damage actually scales with what he builds and encourages people to focus him more late game, even with a full tank build.
