Nidalee's Hunt vs Morgana's Black shield?

Morgana's Black shield does not block it. I played a ranked game as Morgana vs a Nidalee support. The shocking part was when she hit my ADC with a javelin when he had a black shield on he took that damage and was marked. I thought this was a fluke so I also tried running over a trap with the shield on and snap marked again. Later in the game she tagged me with a javelin and flew onto me all while having the shield up.

So is this a bug, or intended? I personally this it should be blocked. Thoughts?
