Why is Draven allowed to have bonus damage on his Auto Attacks equal to 85% of his AD without crits?
Like, seriously, think about it. Sure, he's kind of hard to play and has to press a single key before doing that, but he can't be allowed to have bonus damage on his AAs AND ALSO CRIT. Let's use numbers as a second argument. Most ADCs have around minimum 300 AD at the end of the game (even without baron/dragon buffs), and have an Infinity Edge somewhere in their build. With 300 AD, critical hitting and an infinity edge, a SINGLE auto attack will deal damage equal to: 300 (Base AD)
- 255 (85% of 300, the bonus damage on his Q)
- 750 (250% of 300, critical hitting), with a total of 1255 physical damage (except if you have more ad than this) Sure, you can build armor to reduce the ENORMOUS damage it causes, but if you're a squishier champion (an assassin or an adc), you can't do SHIT against that, bc your build path will rarely let you gain more than 100 armor.
What are your thoughts about this?
) but an 0/3/11 draven isn't going to do much with his extra damage.
If he loses stacks early and then dies again his chance to shine is over and is pretty useless where as an adc like ashe is still providing her cc while being behind.
Point is: Draven needs to snowball to make use of his spinning axes allowing you to quickly do a 1, 2 knockout with his axes. If he doesn't snowball or gets behind...pretty much his kit isn't good if he can't 2 shot people with it, hence his passive.
