Evelyn game play, and help

So I can't find a good jungler lately. and being matched with OP players, and ends up feeding. To end this problem, I bought Evelyn, and began playing her. But every time I ask for leash, my teammates blames me for making them fall behind. Take Fizz for example: he told me that he'll report me because when he finished leashing me, their mid, zed, is already lvl2. So I need a way to leash solo with so that I dun have to be blamed.
