Everyone on the enemy team was really good 3 plats, 1 gold, and 1 silver when my team was all silvers. Needless to say we got destroyed I just want to know how they even got queued with us in the first place.

This mmr is broken, but don't take it as a negative thing. Learn from how they play and apply it to your self. You get good faster playing against better people and if you learn you will climb way easier next season because you will be used to playing against better people.
