The inhibitor and nexus turrets to be given the lightning rod passive again

I think that almost everyone can agree that turrets are currently far too weak. In my experience an the experiences of many other players, the inhibitor and nexus turrets are basically nonexistent. They were nerfed recently so that the inhibitor turrets have 300 less hp and the nexus turrets have 900 less hp, which makes both of them very squishy. Furthermore, the inhibitor and nexus turrets are not even seen as a threat simply because the do relatively no damage. I have been apart of multiple matches in which even a semi tanky champion such as Irelia can just tank the full hp inhibitor turret without even losing half of their hp while their team destroys the turret. The nexus turrets are even worse. It doesn't make sense that the turrets protecting the nexus are the weakest turrets in the entire game. It takes so long for a nexus turret to kill a super minion. In most cases, a single super minion wave can take away 1/3 of a nexus turret's health if left untouched. I've also seen instances of champions tanking both nexus turrets at once and not even losing half of their hp. Bringing back the lightning rod passive would make these turrets more formidable threats as champions would not simply be able to just tank them completely while their team destroys the turret. It would also mean that super minions could not solo end a game, which is pretty ridiculous that can happen.

I think Riot is making a huge mistake with only focusing on making the tier 1 turrets stronger. While they definitely need to be, the other turrets need major changes as well.

Super minions are supposed to be a game-ending threat. Although I do believe supers could use some early-mid nerfs, their primary functionality is still to serve as a replacement for a champion pushing the lane.

Towers are intended to get progressively weaker as they get closer to the Nexus.

The Nexus towers are not supposed to protect anything, aside from just basic minions. You are supposed to protect them.

If the final structures were the strongest, games would never end, as the defending team already has the advantage of less ground to cover and faster routes for defense.

Sion would need compensation buffs.
