He's not broken

He has the shittest early game cant gank anywhere but is a good counter jungler. He lacks any map pressure until he gets his form. Absolutely trash design with his passive. Takes 10 minutes to become a champion and its sad

Kayn is somehow strong but not broken, choosing Rhaast is the best atm aka (Red Kayn).

I've played a ton of Kayn for having a big champ pool, and hes definitely not OP. He'll definitely seem it when hes fed and is blue kayn, but thats basically anyone who is fed. He has a bad early game before he gets his form thats when you are supposed to try and get him behind. It is objective on what form is better, it depends on the circumstance. If you are ahead early game and the enemy team is mostly squishy, then go blue kayn and get even more fed off of easy kills. Red Kayn is better when you are versing more tanky matchups that require you to sustain in a fight more, as blue kayn is quite useless after he gets his initial combo off with his ult if he hasn't killed someone. Of course, you can't choose which one you want freely because its based on if you've damaged a ranged or melee champ more. You can always wait the 4 minutes afterwards if you really believe that the other form is worth waiting for though. I've carried plenty of matches especially more as blue Kayn, but I can see his faults and it has a lot to do with early game. If you are going basically even with the enemy or losing then blue probably isn't the right call.

Kayn is pretty weak early until he gets his form, Rhaast is super strong though. Dunno about shadow assassin.

Base Kayn falls in power after level 3 compared to pretty much every other champion unless you are able to be 100% efficient in your farming, ganking, and invading. If you lack the jungle experience and macro knowledge, you are very likely to struggle until you achieve his transformation. Someone who is is good at this will snowball very hard with either form, but Blue Kayn is the stronger form with an early game lead. Red Kayn (or Rhaast) is ALWAYS relevant on the other hand, even when you had been struggling early game.

So I would not say that Kayn is overly strong right now, AS A CHAMPION, but in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing, ... yeah, he is a monster. But, the same thing can be said for most champions.

Kayn is garbage with garbage cooldowns.

He's good in both cases, if you face a lot of HP-builders, go for Rhaast, if you're facing a hard carry and a few fighters / assassins, go Shadow assassin

Rhaast has shit tons of sustain and SA can delete a squishy before it can even say "uff"

kayn is so dependent on everything. if your team has no real gankable lanes and the enemy laners are hard to gank you are going to struggle hard. if they have an early pressure jungler you are gonna struggle, if you get the wrong form you are going to struggle.

It takes a lot to line up perfectly for kayn to be a super good pick, but when it does, mmmmmmm thats the good shit.

Kayn is sincerely broken and needs a fix asap. A weak early can not lead to an unstoppable mid to late game. Otherwise a Moba makes no sense and can be surr at 20 min. if the enemy champion gets a lead. Assassin Kayn may be almost ok for the high risk, high reward playstyle and the sqishy nature of the champion. Rhaast on the other hand is completely flawed in his concept. He is something between a Diver and a Raidboss but has an assassin ult and escape / mobility. That is just broken in any sense of League's design. It is just unhealthy. Compare Aatrox and Rhaast. They should have similar capabilities and impact, which is just not the case. To balance Rhaast his kit would have to be aligned to a bruiser class. Which other Juggernaut / Raidboss / Diver has such a kit at his / her disposal? Udyr? Urgot? Garen? Xin? Not even Rengar or Camille come close to this in terms of mobility / evasion / sustain.

They nerf supports to the ground. They had to nerf Rhakan out of existence, weaken Kench, Braum, Shield Supps etc. So how can an Assassin Bruiser still exist? How can Neeko have an overstuffed kit like this at release. League already has a big problem with overtuned damage kits and stats, so maybe something like rhaast should be fixed. It is a shame that older champions fall that much behind newer ones in terms of kit designs regarding their possibilities.
