Blue essence is just a treadmill

Anyone else thing blue essence is WAY too slow now? I play basically every single day and at the rate I'm earning blue essence I won't even be able to keep up with new champion releases, let alone catch up on my backlog of champs I want to buy. I get that riot is trying to help out players who have hundreds of thousands of IP/blue essence saved up, but that's no reason to completely screw over players who don't. You needed to give those players something to buy, not just slow down income to the point that nobody can afford to keep up, that's an obvious cash grab. If blue essence doesn't speed up soon, I'll probably drop the game. The treadmill feeling was bad enough before, when you could earn a champion(6300ip) in less than a week, I haven't even earned that much(6300) blue essence since the conversion(and I had 4 hextech chests saved up), and when I can't even keep up with new champion drops it's a huge drop of incentive to play for me. I really hope you sort this out riot, because I really enjoy this game, but I can't afford to play 10 hours a day in order to keep up with new content. I honestly feel straight up betrayed by how slow blue essence is. You're never going to keep your game going if you abandon any player that can't put in hours and hours every single day, riot, and it's a shame that that is the direction you seem to be moving towards. And if nobody else has noticed how slow essence is, please tell me your secret to grinding it, because I would really like to make some progress on my backog.
