This was a pretty touch choice for me, but the spear range and heal is just obnoxious in mid lane. Which I admittedly play more often than top.
In general? Nidalee by far. Riven is powerful, but that power comes with trade offs at least.
Still, I think a lot of people hate both.
Nidalee has a much more toxic playstyle than Riven. Riven has to rely on that snowball in lane in order to be useful. Meanwhile, Nidalee can act as a poke mage, while being able to assassinate/poke down an enemy. Her utility/mobility outshine Riven. Riven is a much better teamfighter, but has no snowball in order to be relevant. Nidalee is relevant all game due to her utility/mobility/poke/heal.
Nidalee. Riven has to get ahead and start snowballing to be an enormous pain in the butt, Nidalee only needs to avoid falling behind.
Nidalee is a pokecat. Riven is a b!tch. Never had trouble winning vs nid but Riven pwned me on several occasions. Why? Because feedalee is dangerous for cant-dodge-shit-squish-team-with-no-healer. Riven is good vs anything.
That's a remarkably close poll, I thought one or the other would be a clear winner.
Guess if there's one thing those of us who read the boards are good at, it's hating everything equally.
