Just a Passive Player Here...

Dear Riot,

I am a passive player. I like passive plays. I like aura buffs. I like to coordinate while playing a safe champion, not necessarily a ranged champion, but a safe one. I like low risk low reward, as well as low risk high reward when the enemy messes up.

Can you please not slowly but methodically cut me out of the game?

I don't mind that you cater to the high risk/reward players more often with the creation of most of the new champs, I don't even mind that you took out Heart of Gold, or Force of Nature. You changed the masteries though, that was a problem, especially since almost all of the top tier benefits require players to go slap another champion in the face. My options are narrowing.

Now, that isn't that much of a problem, I have to face the enemy champion. This is PvP. Then there are things like and the removal of mana regen from turtle stance, and his rework, sad rumors of getting redone as well. And while you made a monster, she is a hyperactive monster now.

My passive control picks are vanishing one by one. Is it just wrong to play like that? Must I either dive into the fray, or pick a ranged playmaker? Are those my only two options now? I thought we were going to see a strengthening of utility, but you guys just removed it from the game. Completely.

I want to control the flow of the game more than I want to mash faces in (though I do from time to time). And I guess, technically, I can do that by picking an uber and straight up killing the guy in front of me. That isn't how I like to play though.

Just some thoughts from a passive player.
