Stop Letting Blocked Players Into My Team

Seriously though. This isn't the first time that through matchmaking, someone I had blocked previously has ended up on my team. They are still blocked fyi, but somehow matchmaking decides it is okay for them to be on my team? I mean, I kind of block them for a reason. Whether it be them intentionally feeding or just them being toxic. It's just bothersome to know that when I'm in queue it might match me with someone I have blocked.

Same answer every time.

Blocking blocked players from joining your games allows for manipulation of matchmaking. Think of it: you could block every Veigar main you come across and eventually you'd be able to not ever play against a good Veigar until he falls out of favor (I chose Veigar as an example because he's being complained about atm).

In the highest and lowest mmr's this feature would also makes matchmaking nearly impossible, since there are so little people in those positions in the first place, and finding 10 of them in the same region queued for a game at the same time is hard enough as it is.

i think if you block or report someone, they shouldn't be able to be on your team for like a day or 2.

Same here, I blocked that person so I wont see their asses again, not so I wont see them until <Random xxx day> likes it's my birthday and need to be surprised.

Blocked players in Master+ will still allow you to match up with or against them Blocked players In ranked will 100% not be in your game for the next 4 hours Blocked players in normals will never cross your path again

yup, as some one thats pretty high elo let me tell you that this is easily abusable. For some reason there is a lot of people that play like 2k+ games and the system thinks its ok that they are high diamond even though they have a negative winrate...I would just go through and block every bad massgamer at high diamond and ensure I never get any of them on my team, higher probability of them on other side as a result.

So easily abused.

Riot would have even replied to this thread

If it wasn't a good idea.

oh great yeah let you cherry pick your teammates that sounds like a really good idea. let the playerbase separate like oil and water, whole 5 man teams of intentional feeders vs 5 tryhards prioritized by your 'friends' list. or instead of demolishing the entire game you could just learn to not be salty enough to qq on the boards srly m8 u salty af
