Bots in Twisted Treeline

I've experienced this several times in low mmr normal 3's when i'm playing with one of my friends who's new to the game. The whole enemy team goes bot lane, and attacks whatever is in front of them until they die, and it repeats until the game is finished. They usually take ghost and smite and all have very similar names. Then if i try and look their accounts up on the launcher it says that their match history is unavailable. These are not just simply players that don't know how to play, they are bots. And i really don't know why anyone would want to bot league in the first place. I can understand games like world of warcraft for farming gold and gearing and stuff, but these accounts are all level 30 unranked. This is a huge problem in twisted treeline and it completely ruins the experience for me, because its easier than playing a custom bot match. Is there anything riot can do to address this issue? I know blizzard threw out a huge ban wave for all the people using bots in wow.
