What is wrong with this game? Or is it just me?

Let's start from the top and work our way down:

  • Logging in takes a much longer time than usual, it has to authenticate for a good 30 to 45 seconds then the loading process takes roughly one minute or so. From there everything is still super laggy:
  • **Trying to start a lobby? ** Takes forever.
  • **Trying to enter the store? ** Also takes 10 years.
  • Trying to go to loot or any other process other than the home menu? Same problem.
  • Half the time when the queue pops, I don't see it/it auto declines.
  • When I do get into a game it loads in fine, I can buy items just fine, and walk to lane just fine. After about one min or so in...it starts.

What is it? The lag! Consistent frame drops and ping spikes, more often than not it is a combination of the two that causes a "disconnected" feeling (hopping all over the map, dieing but not knowing that you have died for a good ten seconds.)

I am running in low spec mode, it has just been recently that this is happening to me.

I have asked many people in game and out if their game/client is doing similar things, about 40% say YES! So, what is this? Is this server side? Or is it me(us)?

Try putting it on Low-Spec mode. I've had friends have similar problems, but it's always been sporadic and never consistent. IDK M8

hardwire if you havent ... wifi and this game dont mix

Hmm... are you running on Windows or Mac? A large number of Mac users are having FPS issues, especially in Ascension. (luckily not me heh)

Either way, you'll probably just have to wait for Riot to fix it. They've mentioned FPS problems in late-game teamfights are on the way to being fixed, but apparently it's more than just late-game teamfights for some players...
