@Riot, Give Champs Diversity Back!

I've been play for about 2 years now, started a patch or 2 before DFG was removed. So i've seen many reworks, the ADCs, assassins, tank, mages. And at this point it feels like the champs ALL have the same idea or the same core game play. You look back to older champs: Graves Katarina and they had unique play styles

Graves: He was an ADCarry who was BUILT to front line AS THE ADC. His Q was an okay spell, but then you move him point blank and he Q's, there goes a 3ed of your health. His passive was awesome at being able to keep him alive when he goes in deep, with an attack speed/mobility spell that also stacked his passive. Gave him the ability to go in and not make him have to walk up to people and get kited. And even if they had those champs that could kill Graves he can STILL play a back line ADC, he doesn't HAVE TO front line. It gave him a variety of play styles, Front line, assassin, back line, Mid line(not up with tanks, but not back with the mage), there was just so many ways you could use his kit. Then the re-work came in. He is no longer an ADC, he moves over to JG, and oh joy, a ranged jg that kites camps around to clear never seen that before(Kindred) and he front lines and can ONLY rly front line, he will do little damage if he plays back line.

Passive: The Ammo system is unique, only given to Graves/Jhin, but because it's on an ammo system that can cost you TOO much damage. Unlike Jhin, Graves's shots won't be doing 1k damage per unless graves is point blank, so if people just kite him down, he won't be able to do THAT much damage on them. But the worst part is, PEOPLE CAN BLOCK HIS SHOTS. Yes, is does make sense if you think about it logically, but if you do, then EVERY ranged auto should be able to be blocked. The problem with shots getting blocked, people can dance around a turret and you can't rly hit them, his last hitting is now much harder to do, and because he has to walk PAST the melee minions, he is much harder to play bot lane do to a ranged champ bullying you, or a Blitzcrank just grabbing you.

Q: His Q is now on a huge delay unless they are by a wall. Not only does this make YOU have to positoin your self to be able to hit the wall with the Q, but you ALSO have to get on oppent by a wall.

W: His W is 100% better, so i do thank you for this riot!!! props to you! :D

E: Because of the ammo he also can't spam his E like he use to. Old Graves With 2.00 attack speed and his E on a 14(with no CDR) second cool down and each auto attack took 0.5 seconds off his E it took him around 28 autos or 14 seconds of a consistent AAing to use that E again, but then you take into effect the normal every seconds the cool down goes down by 1 second so, it would take 14 autos or 7 seconds of consistent AAing to use E again. New graves's E is a little harder to figure out but it always feels much slower(if someone wants to run the math for this to prove me wrong about the time then PLEASE do).

R: His R now KNOCKS YOU BACK!?!?!!? I could use this in lane as old graves at the start of a fight for a large burst right at the start, with 0 draw backs. But now that it knocks you back, ulting at the start of an engage is DUMB, You'll get there slower and that burst isn't as helpful. It's better to use that ult as a finisher(yes old graves did this too but it wasn't rly "required").

The rework forced a great ADC with a versatile play style move over to a jg that may as well be a melee champ and requires you to be is the worst places in lane if he is playing ADC.

Katarina: Katarina, the reset queen. She was a deadly assassin who could get into a fight an kill anyone or anything that she wanted to, Q-E-W-R then once you got that 1st kill she went OFF. She had a strong lane with a slightly **UNPREDICTABLE **engage. If she was ganked or was chasing a kill, she could just ward hop. She had a godlike roam and had what an assassin needed to have, a strong roam, damage, a way to get out if the engage failed and being able to get the delete and GTFO. Then the re-work came in. She moved from a strong lane with a unpredictable engage and a good chase/GTFO move. To a strong laner with a predictable AF engage with a meh chase and can't get out any more unless she has an ally.

Passive: When she picks up a dagger she does damage? It's another MINI GAME!!!! This time it's blink around the fight and try to get your daggers in a good place or else you won't be able to do much damage, good luck! In the middle of a fight the dagger can be hard to get it to land where you want it to land. If you want it on top of one place, it will require you to be able to move to ther ight place then hit Q, and by then you will want it in a diff place. But the reset part was unchanged and kept what made kat, kat; it allowed for her to BE the reset queen jumping all over the place. Ty for keeping this riot props to you! :D

Q: It only jumps 3 times, this makes it worse for farming with, but doesn't leave a mark on them as well. And other than your ult, this is kind of your ONLY damage spell(not counting passive as a spell) you have and at 195 as base damage and only a 30% AP scaling. It will NOT do that damage you need to kill UNLESS YOU ULT or can get some daggers around.

W: I don't see the point of this, it's maxed last and 40% movement speed won't rly do much at early game so if you have no minions nearby, yeah good luck getting out of a gank. It also puts a dagger on top of her? Thats great and all, but if you're facing a ranged opponent most of the time they can move out of the way of the dagger. The old W got moved to the passive... but for it to work you HAVE to pick up a dagger.

E: I'll give you this riot, being able to pick which side you end up on after the blink is a nice touch. Mostly the same, but when you pick up a dagger the cool down goes down helps, so this is mostly unchanged with all buffs right? NOPE! The smallest thing removed was that she could no longer ward hop, now if kat is chasing she can't ward hop to get that Q off, she can't escape with that ward hop anymore. It just hurts the mobility she had.

R: The same thing and does more damage, AWESOME! There is no downsides to this ult, nothing was nerfed. Props to you riot! :D

It's an okay rework to be able to get somewhere kind of slowly. Wut when you play an assassin, you should be able to get on to that ADC ASAP(or mage) to be able to delete. Old kat could just Q the front line into the E-W-R and kill that backline FAST, and if the ult got stopped by CC, it's still okay because of the low CD on the Q and W. Now you need to trow the dagger in the right spot on the front line so it can get KIND OF close to that ADC then you can E to that dagger wait 1/2 seconds then E on to that ADC only THEN can you W-R, and if they stop your ult? Well, then you can HOPE that they are low for a kill with a few auto's and MAYBE just MAYBE you can get a good Q landing so you can E to that for that kill. I don't want to have the calculate the trajectory and angle of every dagger i throw to then be to use the E to TP to that said dagger so i can use that perfect calculated flash to get out of that braum ult to then go back in on that ADC with the E and ult with the ignite to then calculate the perfect amount of damage for a kill!(this is about how it feels to play kat). If i wanted to think about every spell i use and how it could effect the entire game i would go play Zed.(Yes, this is an over exaggeration, i know)

They were much simpler and could do the same stuff that they currently can but with major differences to them.

TL;DR: Graves had a more diverse play style and Katarina was much simpler and could the same job as she can now, but better. Sorry for the "Wall Of Text"™ just went on a rant here. Thanks for reading if you did :D
