Karma falls off Late Game?

NO. Karma was my first champ! (pre season 4) and I have loved her ever since. She deals tremendous damage the entire game, has great poking, and kiting, the whole game and is very versatile. I have played Karma in every position (except ADC) and have done average if not better on multiple occasions. In my experience even as a support (Where you lose some AP for the sightstone and frost queen's claim) she can still fire off a Soulflare (RQ) and half health almost any one but tanks AT ONE TIME. It really makes me mad when people 'claim' Karma has no damage late game because they are WRONG. She can slow down an entire team and speed up her own (Usually not at the same time but it is possible.) If any one gets close to your carry or you, you can shield who ever they are attacking and then slow them with your Q and root them with your W. The only reason I think Karma might not be the best is that her Q is her main damage dealer and if you cant hit it, you will lose. Karma's W isnt a long snare unless maxed which makes you choose long snare over big shield, because maxing her E second (you always max Q first) can give a very big shield. Im not saying there is anything bad about this it gives versatility. Do I want to lock people down or a absorb more damage. The only buff i think she could get (Without making her godmode) is to make the length of her snare always 1.5-2 seconds instead of starting at 1 and going up by .25 each rank. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT SEE KARMA AS OP AS I DO?!

Karma just has a lot to bring to a team. You can bring damage or opt out for utility with that team shield/speed buff. She's just under appreciated. Just like she was before the rework. Just ignore the haters and keep proving them wrong.

I just feel like she needs an actual passive, one that influences her playstyle as a whole, not just her mantra alone. She's already packing a punch and comes with added utility. She just needs that little "oomph" that I feel a creative passive will provide.

She's strong, but she's not OP. If you want an explanation, I'd be happy to give you one soon! But I'm starting a game. xD

I know OP is not the best description but she is very underrated if you ask me.

I have 2 wishes for Karma and I'd play her mid lane forever:

1)Reduce the time it takes for her to snare

2)Make her R-Q targetable as a circle

I would sacrifice lux to the utility mage gods to have this. You know I'm serious now.

Like you I've loved Karma since I first played her. She's versatile as a Support and can dish out a lot of pain if not prepared against. Every time I use her she's always at the right place at the right time with her shields and slows. I also love RQ-ing enemies hiding under turrets where they think they're safe but man do people forget how much potential she has. Right now though, I think ARAM is where most of her potential is unlocked cause she doesn't have to play support, she can play destroyer and win.

I actually am in love with Karma, and would use her all the time, HOWEVER, the issue is this. Whenever I use her as support, she becomes borderline garbage, since the team bitches unless you get sightstone instantly. Now maybe it's just me and my inability to play this game well, but it causes her abilities to do little-to-no damage, because the enemy team has already bought items that do a ton of damage, while you just lost 800 gold on a sightstone, and thus couldn't enhance your AP to counter them. She then is behind the entire game (at least as support), and becomes the main target. I then have to build her as a tank, which I HATE doing. Hate. Absolutely despise. But if I don't, all I'll do is either feed, or have to hide behind my own team. This of course is assuming we don't already have a tank, which seems to happen to me every game I play her as for some reason. Maybe it's just me though...

I have no problems like you do. I even mentioned even if you have a Frost Queen's Claim (does give AP but could be replaced with much better items.) a sightstone (0 AP but 0 rage from team and vision helps) and ionian boots (the CDR ones). You can still build 3 AP items (I usually do Liandry's Torment Zhonya's and if Im doing good Rabadons, if bad I go abyssal) You still can at least take 1/3 of any squishies health and even a tanks sometimes with an RQ and maybe even a normal Q.

I know Karma's strengths. She is one of the strongest solo laners in the game. Excellent damage and utility in lane. She can all in squishies or poke for an extended period of time.

However she really does fall off late game compared to the average AP champ. She has absolutely no hard CC unless you can call a snare after a few seconds of tether hard CC. And while she can contribute decent burst damage with a matra'd Q and W once the enemy team has bloodthirster and or MR you will not be killing anybody without help ever.

She's still great in extended fights if you can kite champs with 1 time use ults and get multiple matras and spell rotations off though
