Carrie Pigeon2 votesWhile it would be fun to play old champions again (Former Sion main) I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. You just get used to the idea champions can change and if you dislike their new version it's time to swap mains.

I mean, those files already exist. They're not adding anything. They're making them accessible. Not to mention that file size is basically irrelevant, sans all but the HUGEST updates. The reworks constitute maybe a couple dozen champs worth of information, that could be phased in gradually with the addition of the sandbox.

Not to mention the way things are coded (like missiles) have been changed over time, which means that they can't just copy the code for spells over.

They exist somewhere. They didn't just disappear. You don't just drag assets to the recycle bin.
