These queue times are out of hand

Sitting at 25 minutes as of posting this. I am only plat 4, and i have tried every lane combination aside from support, which i do not enjoy playing this season.

I think that your last sentence explains why. I wasn't ranked last season. Are the queue times comparable? ~~or are they less and someone who didn't want support would get stuck as support?~~ EDIT: Or were they longer than last year because last year someone could get stuck with support because you couldn't select roles?

I think it perfectly explains why. Many players who used to enjoy supporting are finding it lackluster and low impact this season. What are the incentives for other players to start filling that gap as well? I don't think quick queue times are rewarding enough to justify myself picking support to be honest.

Yeah, supports (minus janna) don't really help secure towers which is crazy important atm. Late game it feels like you're there as a soft sack of gold for opponents (cuz you can't buy tanky items (prices were increased) nor do dmg). Idk that being said I do love support. I'm a support main myself. It does feel low impact at times.

EDIT: I would offer to duo with you for queue times. You mentioned you're platinum though. I'm guessing I'll be somewhere in high bronze or low silver if/when I finish my placements. I would look like a noob. :) (like 1200 MMR last I checked)

Hey we all start somewhere! I started silver 5 this season, its all about persistence and wanting to improve!
