Patch 9.14

This patch ruined the game, I've been playing for the last 6 years and the changes in this patch finally convinced me to uninstall the game. The changes to Aatrox, Mordekaiser, and Swain made me hate the champions I used to love

Swain changes are buffs. He's a close-range battlemage that doesn't need to play a minigame to have access to his ult, and he actually has mana sustain. The stacking health lets him turn into an unkillable late game monster.

Morde needed a nerf. Would have preferred they do something more interesting like change his total magic pen to bonus magic pen (so he doesn't make squishy things squishier, he's just harder to build against).

Aatrox is just the latest in many champions who have had their unique mechanics taken away because they're difficult to balance at the pro level, and the devs think that we'd rather have stronger champions than unique champions. I don't know where they got that idea.

No they aren't. Swain is pretty unbearable to play. He does absolutely no damage. You build up an extra 350 health from the passive and do no damage. So basically your a shitty offbrand vlad tank.

They didn't nerf any of his damage values. His ult damage went up. Whatever damage he's dealing now, he dealt before.

Swain isn't a burst mage, he's a battlemage. His single target damage is lower than other mages, but he does immense AoE damage with buckets of sustain.

Have you actually played him? His q is unbearable. The damage is zero and the cool down is awkward. His ult only has more healing if you are in the middle of 5 enemy champions otherwise it is actually less than before. The damage in his ult form and the burst at the end are a complete joke.

Yeah I've played him, he feels better than ever.

Q is a close-range spell. It's a shotgun. It does a bit of poke at max range, but chunks people point-blank. The fact that it pierces minions now gives Swain better waveclear and lets him poke the enemy through the wave.

His ult healing amount didn't change for champions, but he can hit any number of targets, so in virtually every case, the healing is more. Standing in a minion wave and hitting one champion used to only hit two minions for 20% healing each. Now you could hit all 6-7 minions. Even though it's 10% of the healing for each, it adds up to much more healing than before.

These changes are great, and all of your complaints are just plain wrong. Sounds like you just want to be mad about it.

Nice personal attack. His q doesn't chunk anyone at any distance. His ult healing scales with number of champions not minions. If you are 1v1 it doesn't heal and if your in a team fight you get bursted anyways.

He's a close-range battlemage. Of course his Q doesn't chunk people at a distance.

His ult healing DOES scale with the number of minions in range. He gets 10% of the amount he gets from a champion per minion in range. Read the tooltip.

If you get bursted down as the tank with infinite health scaling, I don't know what to tell you. Build more armor and MR?
