New Que, First Loved, Now Hated

Just my Personal opinion from my experiences thus far. I loved the new que system when it hit. Over time I've noticed a few things and I had maybe some suggestions on improving it.

  1. Don't Require a Secondary. If other people are like me, sometimes I come on LoL knowing exactly which lane, champion and build I want to wreck with. I have to force myself to choose a secondary position (and more often than not I have to play the secondary position). After a while I got tired of never getting to play what I actually turned my computer on and logged in to play so, I started to que dodge, Which of course after a while makes you wait before you can que again.

  2. Add a third option so players can choose 1 position that they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT desire to play whatsoever that game. I feel this should be a good fix because I truly feel that 90% of the games I choose fill as a secondary, I end up being support. Sometimes I really just DO NOT want to play support but, I don't really have a preference between top, mid, jungle or bot. It would be nice for players to be able to say. "I don't really care what position I play as long as it's not _____."

  3. This is more of a questions than a suggestion. What is up with the excessive amount of bots in ARAM?

They tried the only one choice thing in PBE, I heard. Apparently it took for-e-ver to find a game, even in higher elos. This is obviously a bad idea because there are so few support mains compared to the rest of everything (cough mid mains cough). So deal with whatever position you get; it's healthy to try something new and away from your usual.

The second idea is pretty good though... I bet most people will put support as "absolutely do not want". Maybe that will make queue times higher, since most supports come from choosing Fill. I wouldn't mind it, but at the same time, I think it could increase queue times.

As for ARAM, they all migrated from Dominion over to ARAM, I guess.

  1. If you get rid of the secondary position, we go back to the same problem Team Builder had: super long queue times if you want mid or another super desirable position.

  2. If there's one position you really don't want to play, don't pick fill. Just pick your second best role. If you don't have a preference, it doesn't matter if you just pick one, right?

I'd love an option to say what I don't want. Like "fill: no mid"
