Taric is a terrible champion

He is terrible. Don't even try to justify him being good. He is a decent support at best but in the grand scheme of things he is one of the worst champs in the game. There are only a handful of times you can justify picking him. Maybe against an all AD team. But even then he gets outclassed by Alistair, Leona, or any other tank support. Very weak kit in my opinion. His stun is super low range and the duration is very short. It does not give ADC enough time to follow up. His heal is very small and by mid to late game it is completely useless as it only heals about 100-200 HP. His W is probably one of the only abilities that is good as it gives your team a small boost in armor but it is very minuscule unless you complete stack armor which leaves you very squishy to any Mage. His ult is pretty nice it is a small buff to you whole team but even against a very strong fed team this skill is worthless.

So to sum it up. He is a very one dimensional support that you should only really ever pick against a heavy AD team. He can't be played in any other role effectively as he has like 0 damage and harass. Very slow based move speed and attack speed. Makes him in my opinion one of the worst least playable champs in the game. Glad he is getting rework as he needs a buff.

He is the only champion I ever played and felt completely useless with. I want to feel useful. Albeit I'm not a very good player but with other champions I feel like I am some what contributing to the team. Even when I'm playing awful.

I get some people upset at this post because they like Taric and his champ design but even you have to admit he could use a buff.

Hes among the best healer in the game (after soraka) which costs him only mana instead of health. He gives armor and SHREDs enemy armor. That means that he doesnt have to be situational. there is always an AD source on the enemy team and in your team. He has a very reliable stun and a baron buff as a ult.

Hes pretty darn good.

Taric is a great lane bully, and one of the best healers in the game rivaled only by Soraka, he might not be as good of a lategame support but he is great early game and his heal remains relevant throughout the game.

Taric should be played as a counter pick to comps with at least 3 ad champions. If they pick a 4th champion that's AP, get a locket to cover that.

If you think Taric is worthless, you don't understand the game very well.

The armor he gives to teammates is no small potatoes, and he's no slouch even without it. I played Taric in a game recently and was able to solo the enemy Vayne. I mean, it probably wasn't Sneaky's smurf, but still. Leona and Alistar can't do that. Period.

Don't shit talk champs just because you don't like them. He's a great part of the game, and he is incredibly useful in the right hands. Those downvotes are earned.

Taric OK I understand why you feel this way, it may be due to your approach on how taric is played.

1st off. Mana is important with the Gem Knight. Stock up on Mana pots and use Clarity (omg this guy uses clarity)..yes !! exhaust + clarity. "With Clarity"

2nd, Use all defensive runes and masteries.. it only helps your ADC perform and take risks when he's also a tanky B#stard. Your auras are no joke.

3rd, wait for enemies to engage first. stun the enemy adc and rush in like a psychopath... with someone like Cait on your side.. they'll get poked down to hell.

4th, your ult is the ace in the hole. It will boost your adc's ad/ap. (It like they have a BF sword) Tarics Ult + any adc ult = nighty night for anyone with 50% hp.

Dont touch my Taric. he's truly outrageous.

He's one of the most broken champs in the game because the likelihood of killing his team in the 2.5 secs before his ult invulns is extremely unlikely to happen. And his team basically has to burn all an opponent's skills to prevent an Ace if this happens mid team fight, because they usually have no escape, unlike Kindred's which is stationary and thus has counterplay.
