So at this moment it seems like The Scorn of the Moon hasn't been getting much attention from Riot. While the new AP items do help her a bit in the laning phase with her mana consumption, it still seems like she's a bit lost. I've been playing Diana ever since season 5-6 and I'm just in love with her kit and lore, but she's in need of a lot of help. For starters CS-ing especially under the turret if playing against an unfavorable matchup is difficult with her low base AD. Furthermore, her E still seems pretty useless to me, especially considering the build path most players are going: Luden's/Spellbinder with a bursty play style like Electrocute. The AP bruiser attack speed build doesn't seem as favorable due to the lack of attack speed items that can synergize well with her kit. Right now, according to na.op.gg Diana is sitting at a 48.6% win rate. I'm curious to know what everyone thinks:

She used to be one of my tried and true JG's (Alongside Nautilus if my team needed a tank or Warwick if a fighter was needed) but she's really fallen out of favor. It's sad, really. Like I said, she was one of my tried and true champs. Some of my opinion might come from having not played JG for some time (It used to be my 2nd most played role after Top, it's now my Third with Support taking it's place of 2nd), but even so, she just doesn't seem the same. Maybe the mini-rework of getting MP with her third AA messed with her more than I thought.

I don't know how you or other (Correct me if I'm wrong) more true Diana players will take this, but I'm thinking she needs a VGU. I've voted as such on your poll, as a heads up.

Now in terms of my reasoning, it's because I think (Especially with that mini-rework) Diana's lost her sense of identity. The former cleave effect made her effective as a JG because it gave her good clear rates, and while the mana-recovery effect did help with her mana problems, it also added new ones.

Her skills are somewhat stuck between two areas. Her dash (From her Ult) and limited CC (From her E) suggests Fighter or DIver-esque gameplay. But the burst damage (Assuming one hits her Q and then double Ult Dashes her target) can suggest intents for her to be an Assassin. So a full-scale VGU would, hypothetically, plant her firmly in one of the two niches, whether that be Fighter/Diver or Full-on Assassin. You can't have it both ways. There might be some that disagree, and that's OK. I'm sure others can come up with champs, whether past or present, that might technically work as a "Multi-Class" to oppose my argument.

There's no vote for she's fine so this is an invalid thread. Diana doesn't need any help from items or rework. The only thing she could use is a new visual for her ultimate, it's very boring.

She's just really useless when behind since she kinda has no escapes, but when ahead enough she basically becomes point and click 100-0 from long range. Would say she should get a rework.

With Diana's atkspd passive now tied to spell casts, she's even more dependent on an item that was already core--Nashor's Tooth. It feels like her power unlocks at 3,000 gold, not lv 6, and that's not a good feeling.

It would be really nice if they either reverted the passive changes or gave her some kind of either numbers buff or made Nashor's components feel less shitty to build/use until the full item is finished.

Her wr is 48.6% in the mid lane alone. Her overall wr is 50.5%, gold+ is 51.7%, Diamond+ is 52.5%. A neither vote option would make this a more legit thread

Diana Diana does not need a rework. Changing her abilities as they are right now would just spoil everything. Most league players misunderstands the power of Diana’s E. The magic is in the passive. It increases the arrack speed for the next 3 auto attacks after an ability is used. This is very important when it comes to split pushing. When built with a nashor’s tooth item 3115 this can be very powerful. Also her passive can help in cs’ing.
