Dodging in placements

Can someone tell me how dodging in placements affects your account? I dodged a game because my one trick was banned (Zoe) and even after checking op.gg mmr nothing changed i played 3 more games won them all with increasing mmr of the ppl i played with. I am currently 4-1 in placements (my loss being the first game i played as my bot afk'd at 10 mins) and if the dodge counts as a hidden loss 4-2 yet the mmr I am playing with and winning at is low plat yet op.gg says I'm going to be placed gold 5 yet before i dodged it said gold 2. is there someway that dodging effects the mmr of your placement but not your matchmaking? Any input would be appreciated.

I've looked it up before as well, and it's pretty divided on what actually happens. Personally, I dodged a game after meh Talon was banned. I was looking up to be placed in Silver 1 but eventually got placed in Silver 3.

Honestly, op.gg is really eh on MMR. I've played against Gold players and it said my MMR was around a Silver 2 elo...

if you dodge during placements its considered a loss as far as placing you goes but doesn't affect MMR i believe. Basically do not dodge during placements.
