MMR in normals

So my main account is on NA, made an account on EU because i'm currently in UK for a while. Wouldnt mind staying on NA at all, but the ping is just awful. So NO i didnt make a second account for smurfing. My intentions are not to bitch about the MMR system in normals but here's my problem.

I'm ALWAYS paired up against Plat and diamonds. I don't mind at all since its pretty much my level, but my team mates are Bronze, not ranked or not even lvl 30.

Any thoughts ?
