Ok Riot you can fuck right off with your missions now. You've been slowly getting worse and worse with them. Worlds marked a bad step. You make a chroma for a championship skin, thats cool, what isnt cool is stating, basically, unless we buy the ticket (another $10) you cant even earn the skin with the missions you put in. But now is a whole new level of fucking stupid, I'm referring to the "close quarters" mission that requires a team to win a game with no ranged champs. So now when I see some idiot on my team losing us the game because he is playing darius adc because you told them to pick some dumbass pick for 5 tokens I can openly blame you for ruining my game. Been around since season 2 and this shit is just stupid. Fuck you Riot.

Yeah, it wasnt thought through very well imo.

I see what they're thinking though.

"Get into a premade and play 5 melee champs"

what they dont realise is the majority of their players are solo/duo queuers, so what this means is we will get random people trying MELEE adc's.

I think there is some ways around it though.

  1. Get in a premade.
  2. Play Anyone with a good all in, and wait for level 6/ganks. Mordekaiser LeeSin MasterYi Nocturne Shaco MonkeyKing Fizz
  3. ARAM. ARAM kinda RNG but possible.

The sad thing is that I'm a relatively new player and don't even know how to play any melee champs. I was in the slow process of trying to find a toplane and jungler that I liked before the mission came up. Maybe if there was a melee hero who could ignore minion/hero hitboxes while running, so I didn't get stuck on everything, I'd be more successful with my quest.
