Different client version loading into a match.

Hey guys, I recently noticed while playing league at a friend's house that the version displayed at the lower left corner of the loading screen is different than the one on my computer. I was wondering if that was a normal thing. I thought everyone, at least in NA, would share the same client version. There are also some other differences, for instance I've recently been experiencing a lot of lag in my client and I've also been loading into games slow. My internet connection is still the same, no issues with that. I've been playing around with my drivers just to get them updated because I thought maybe that's why I've been loading in to games slow, but now I don't even know. Hopefully I've posted this to the right area of the board. Any insight would be appreciated :D
