BALANCE IDEA: Receive 20:00 minute fountain buff early if you are pushed to inhibitor before 20 mins
This is something that has bothered me for quite some time, and feels like a very simple rubber band mechanic that could be implemented.
The idea is simple: there is normally a buff that activates in the platform at 20 minutes for both sides, where healing is drastically increased, and you get that move speed boost as you leave the base. I would propose that if your side has been pushed all the way to your base before 20 minutes (which can be easily checked by which towers are still standing), that you are obviously losing hard and probably in need of the help anyways.
The power level of this change could be easily tweaked by maybe making the healing speed / move speed half as powerful as the 20 minute version or maybe it only activates once you've actually lost your inhibitor tower or even inhibitor. It just feels very demoralizing as a player to be on the receiving end of a pre 20 minute inhibitor push or inhibitor loss, and on top of very obviously losing hard, still having to wait painfully long in fountain as things get even more out of your reach.
I think this would be a good mechanic that would allow a little bit of capacity for teams that are about to have the game decided for them pre 20 minutes (because let's be real, if you're about to lose or do lose an inhibitor that early, your chances or winning are unreal low).
Anyways, just a thought that I've had for a while that I always thought would be a really nice touch. Let me know what you think.
