Aatrox?

When is Aatrox getting a buff? Practically wasted 6300 IP on this champ just to find out he's absolute garbage. I was told he was a drain tank so I thought he'd be a bit like an AD Vladimir, but he's just absolute trash. I think his Q should be uninterruptible and have a slightly larger radius, as it is so incredibly easy to dodge and cancel.

I'm not sure where exactly but on reddit someone suggested that when he's in his regen stasis from Blood Well, he should drain the life points of nearby enemy champions, to increase the amount he came back with, since after his passive is bursted it really is his weakest point. In lane you practically must recall and in a fight you just get camped and die. I also do think that is fairly thematically on point with who he is as a champion, as he is essentially the god of war. He also needs a buff timer on when his Blood Well starts to decrease. Tryndamere's is at 8 seconds, which is insane because of what Tryndamere builts (mostly crit and attack speed) makes it so incredibly easy for him to get it to 100%, whereas Aatrox either has to rely on getting an insanely good ult or farming jungle minions or spamming his skills before the fight even begins, putting him at a disadvantage. It should be 8 seconds just like Tryndamere's.

I also think that his ultimate, Massacre should completely fill his Blood Well, rather than +20% for each nearby enemy. The reason being is that he is so dependent on his Blood Well, and it's not even like he's practically good with it full either. Personally I also think his ultimate should be a point + click AoE fear that fears all nearby enemies (including minions) except for the target he ulted. He would still get the AoE magic damage but it just adds more versatility to his escape and teamfight options if he already used his high cooldown Q. It would make him more of a great diver champion since he can ult the ADC carry while providing enough peel for himself, BY himself to possibly kill them as well.

Also feel that he needs some stat buffs as he needs so much gold for an even slightly viable build - which is damage, attack speed, sustain and tank; and since he is so bad at literally everything he does, he is just continually boned before he can even get the gold. He is mediocre at best and complete utter trash at worst, with so much other champions doing everything better than he does.

Also think his model could be a whole lot better because things, like most of your models and skins, are just so oddly proportioned. Like why are his hands and arms literally just as big as his legs and feet? Did anyone even think that through or anything? Like lol. Was also thinking he'd look good in an Eternum skin line as well but yeah that's pretty much all I got. Thanks for reading

Here is a suggestion for you. A more reliable build for Aatrox that I have found is to build him as an AD tank sort of like Poppy.

Use 12/0/18 masteries with grasp

item 3748 first item item 3078 if doing well, item 3065 against ap, or item 3742 item 3143 or item 3068 depending on AD matchup for second item

Boots of choice with item 3111 usually being best

Last 3 items full tank according to enemy comp.

He will get a buff when he gets reworked. His current kit is too cancerous to be allowed to be viable.

I still don't see the problem with aatrox. maybe give him a bit more attack damage and more attack speed and I think he is just fine. I love aatrox the way he is

Don't listen to what people say. He is considered a bad champion largely because people are unable to pull themselves out of their myopic view of how they think he is to be build, and what items to get when.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_JfwFX4c2VLqYLOsIBVrOQ Go to my channel and watch some demonstrations of how you can totally crush the enemy with Aatrox

item 3812 item 3047 item 3046 item 3026 is my core build for nearly every match. Notice that the first 3 items focus on damage reduction. This helps Attrox be able to have a little bit of tankiness while having good damage, attack speed and movement/chase. Guardian Angel is great early because its cheap, and you can really hurt the enemy in team fights by reviving 2 times. The last 2 items are usually a combination of item 3156 item 3742 item 3075 item 3065 depending on the situation. If the game goes long, ditch your boots and pick upitem 3078

summoner 14 summoner 6 Forget teleport. Its nice to have sometimes, but overall, in most situations, getting early kills, and therefore, snowballing, is much MUCH more important to Aatrox and will result in more wins. Also, ghost is amazing. Aatrox already has a dive. Ghost is great for escaping, but also chasing (short cool down too) and moving through minions in chaotic team fights. It works well with ignite, being that ignite grants you vision of them so they won't out run you or lose you in the bush.

Lastly, take full AD runes and scaling armor and magic resist to help with him being a little more tanky late game. If you cant hang the first 6 levels with Aatrox with scaling armor runes instead of flats, then you have other problems.

To recap--go for FUNCTIONALITY--2 revives, movement speed, damage reduction, cool down reduction. The rest will take care of itself.
