It started about 3-4 days ago where my fps would suddenly start to stutter from 144 to around 120-130 for a few seconds and go back to normal for a bit. It always seemed to happen when minions spawned and were running to lane, after that it was kinda fine for a bit. I've tried pretty much every "fix" that i could find and think of so I conclude that it must be something that they altered in this patch. It would be really nice to get a word from Riot about this matter.
I've been dealing with my game tearing on random portions of the game especially if I lock my screen. This happens when the enemy team minions are rolling into lane and also why I'm near the enemy teams turret. Streaming on OBS amplifies this. I'm not sure how to fix it.
My framerates have been garbage in random games as well, where I would usually range from 120-140, and then suddenly in the next game it dips as low as 6 frames per second????
I'm experiencing the same issues for 2-3 days now.... I have already reinstalled the game. I did not help in my case. I tried a checklist : https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/209010626-Frame-Skipping-on-High-End-PCs : It does not help either. I am getting really upset abot it since it is really frustrating to play, especially as adc when ur supposed to kite sometimes. No clue how to fix it (played on 144 fps and 30 ms btw)
I figured it out and made a couple posts about it, it's caused by the minions. Every time minions spawn, you lose about 20-25 frames, then the microstuttering starts until the minions are in the lane and attacking, but then a couple seconds after that, more minions spawn and the process repeats.
I had this same issue in game and kinda fed off in a normal game since the game was lagging and couldn't win trades where I usually could've. Then received a 14 day suspension after that game. Pretty upset with riot.
which monitor are u using?
i too am getting this problem, why does riot not look into this?
This is insanely frustrating I've been having this problem for almost a year, I see threads like these pop up a lot but no help or solutions from riot. Always happens when minions pop up for me, and every couple minutes throughout the game. Dealing with this has become very tiresome.
