Syndra being played at worlds

As we watch the 2016 worlds taking place, we are seeing tons of Syndra being played which brings me joy as a Syndra main. However, it is concerning because I can expect to see nerfs on my favorite champion. I believe that decreasing her damage would be a mistake as she would become useless as she is a lane dominant burst mage. If I were riot, I would rework or adjust her w upgrade. Grabbing 3 spheres and then e'ing is the reason she is seeing play but by changing that she would still stay the fun champion I love.

It's a natural part of the game for champions that are currently strong to be tuned down. What feels balanced and normal one day is flipped upside down when a pro player shows everyone a play pattern or laning style that makes them appear overly dominant.

Once you have 30% of the mids for example pick/banning Syndra, Riot basically takes that as a cue to pull her popularity down or buff other champions.

I feel your pain because I identified as a LeBlanc main when nobody would play her, when the LCS season finished no changes had been made to her and boards were crammed with "NERF THE OVERPOWERED BULL SHIT WITCH!!" and that sentiment continued for about a year.

Just how the game changes. I wouldn't worry too much about Syndra though she's always seemed relevant due to her splash and range.
