Seriously?

I grind all afternoon to hit the next level, and I'm rewarded with barely a thing. Like so many others on the forum have said already, the new system with BE is a scam. What Riot is trying to get away with is despicable.

For clarification- the Nunu and Yi shards disenchant for 90 BE apiece. The Kat one disenchanted for 630. So in total... 810 BE. Not even enough to unlock a 1350 champion shard.

level 31 is like 3 or 4 games and that's worth like.. 700 BE?

That's like the exact same rate as it used to be, maybe more.

3 or 4 games?! I had to play 8 to hit 31, and that was with an XP boost. That isn't even close to the same rate.

I was expecting Riot to not turn into a stereotypical money-grubbing, overly greedy game company. I suppose I overestimated them.

Certainly not two 450 champion shards and one 1350. We were promised bad luck protection, and that hardly seems adequate.

And I'm not the first one to be "complaining" about this. Would you prefer if I word my initial post to sound less whiny and more observational?

Shards that amount closer to a total of 1000 or so BE, if not more. An even better idea would be reducing the amount of XP required to level up, or perhaps giving bonus BE with every match. This whole system is just rife with issues.

Others on the forum have talked about the cons of gaining currency in large chunks as opposed to bits over time- say you're just barely short of unlocking a champ you've been trying to get AFTER you've gotten the BE from levelling up. Oops, now you have to wait another 10 days or so to get to the next level and get more BE.

Orrrrrr you can just give in and buy the champ with RP, which is clearly what Riot wants.

Bad luck protection is getting poor drops multiple times in a row, this was just your first drop.
