Proposed Solo Queue Ranking System Changes

I just want to start this off by saying, i'm coming into this post/discussion as a low level player. This isn't a rage thread or "this system sux i deserv plat noobs". I just want to voice my opinion and hopefully get constructive feedback on why it is/isn't a good idea.

Team Game

League Of Legends is a team game, you need your teammates just as much as they need you. That being said, the solo queue ranking system is meant for a team system. That meaning, you are playing with the same 4 people each and every game. You gain/lose a set amount of LP based on if you win/lose, which would be awesome if we had the same people in all of our games.

Solo Play

Why is my ability judged purely on a win or loss when I have 4 other people in my game who could leave, troll, or just plain play badly. I know this thread is going to get all kinds of responses like "Well if there's 5 on the enemy team and 4 others on your team that means there's more of a chance for them to have a troll, not you.". I do see where you are coming from but why do i have to queue and hope that i don't get a troll in my game? Why are wins and losses the only determining factor? Shouldn't there be a system to measure individual skill rather than team skill?

Proposed Changes

I'm not good with numbers or balancing or anything really like that, I just think the ranking system should reflect more on individual play with bonuses based on wins or negatives towards losses. Whether it measures k/d/a plus C.S. towers pushed etc. IDK. Again, im plain awful at things like that so maybe someone else could come up with something.

TLDR: League Ranks are meant for a team system, change lp losses/gains to reflect solo play as well.

I was having this discussion a day back with a friend. I believe that in solo play at least, I should lose LP based on how bad I did. Yes it will involve a lot of complicated math but that shouldn't be a deterrent from an attempt to improve the system and reward better players. For instance, if I go 20/0/10 in the whole game but still lose, then I shouldn't lose more than 5-10 LP. It is quite simple as that.

The amount of "trolls" "afks" and all that in a large period of time is irrelevant and you are where you belong. I got better and went from gold to diamond after being "stuck"
