I try to play with my friend who barely plays league and this is what I get. That's for making him not want to play league do to shit matchmaking.

I would look @ the team MMRs, both are very close to eachother, most likely means the unrankeds you had have very good MMR despite not playing ranked.

Plat 5 irelia enemy team vs my team Silv 5 irelia. She got fed, unsurprisingly.
Plat 5 ekko enemy team vs my team Silv 5 ekko. He eventually got fed enough to 100-0 me and our adc with his ult and either an auto attack or Q.

I just recently reached plat 5 in ranked and unless my normals MMR is godlike i really cant be expected to carry or even salvage some of these games.

i get games like this all the time even though it sucks that some times you will just get raped you also nice to get a opportunity to play against diamond players for an example which will help you improve but i defiantly agree ranked mmr needs to some what affect your normal mmr. also lvl 30s shouldnt be matched with people under lvl 30 unless the server is extremely empty that is stupid

I see this happen all the time lately when you duo in normals. And it creates some of the most toxic and unfun games I have ever seen. Nothing better than trying to get your low lv friends to like league while they get absolutely shit on by a platinum or diamond opponent.
