Rank games and players leaving

Should Riot reduce the amount of LP loss for every player that actually disconnects in rank games? It makes sense being that it's not your fault that you lost the game, it's because of a incompetent player and you shouldn't be punished for them leaving.

The problem with that is that toxic players could potentially abuse others badly enough to get them to leave, just so the toxic player can get a reduced loss.
