Why did Riot kill the casual gamer? (Team Builder removal)

I want a response from Riot, because I am sick of playing only ranked and diet ranked. Why did they get rid of Team Builder? It was all I ever played. honestly after they removed it I uninstalled the game, and I have heard many similar stories to this. I have been playing this game since the start. I have put hundred of dollars into this game over the years and then Riot just decided that I didn't matter any more, none of the casual gamers did. All I want to do is play the champion I want to play. Don't force me into something I don't want to do, at that point it is not a game anymore, its not fun. When you click on PvP they give you this huge box of all the game modes possible and instead of filling it they get rid of the only thing keeping me playing the game. I just recently got back into it, playing ARAM a lot because I HATE ranked, but I wont put another penny into the game now that I know that Riot doesn't care about what I or any of the other casual gamers have to say.

Having you que split between normal, draft, ranked, Aram, dominion, 3v3 and tb isn't such a good idea. They decided to off it for in favor of the new draft, I do miss the old tb but draft is a good alternative

team builder sucks balls compared to new champ select. it had all the wait (or longer ) of draft pick, the blindness of blind pick, and the champion bias, how many teemo top mains played team builder? none cuz they didn't get allowed into teams. how many mid mains played team builder? fucking long wait for a mid, and anything questionable never got a team.

how long you wait for a support to que up, only to see you have a non meta (anything) on your team and they insta leave?

Well for starters, casual players often play Blind Pick. It's very fast to get into champ select, champions you like can't be banned, and you can start games fast since everyone can pick their champions all at once instead of waiting to do it one at a time. And since champs can't be banned, even a beginner Level 1 player can play it while draft modes requires at least 16 champions owned to play.

If you want to play a specific lane, then the new champ select makes Draft Normals better than team builder. Yes, your champion may be banned out but you can guarantee your lane position while still having a relatively quick queue.

Teambuilder was slow as Hell just getting a team together. It didn't allow for bans, so it couldn't act as a "practice for Ranked" type of queue, while also not having the "I just want to play now" speed of Blind Pick. If you wanted to play an unpopular champion you could end up waiting for 30+ minutes easily even at low normal MMR.

Riot has already addressed Teambuilder a long time ago. Search the Red posts if you want. Teambuilder was always a temporary solution and is no longer needed with the new champ select for draft mode. The short version is; the pros of going into queue as a specific champ are outweighed by the cons, but going into queue for a lane position then selecting champs keeps most of the same pros while also negating the biggest cons of Teambuilder (namely time).

If you want to quit, that's fine. But don't think you speak for all of the casual players.
