Change to public information about wards

Since patch 8.1, players have not been able to see the stock of trinkets (wards) other players have in inventory. For example, I cannot see if you have any unused wards or not for trinkets. I CAN see this for items (e.g. 3 wards placed on Brace). This was not in the patch notes. What's up? I find this frustrating because it's hard to remind specific people to ward if you don't know who isn't warding and can't quickly get a numeric check for ward count.
