I Will ALWAYS Hate Orianna

I know I'll get downvoted but...

This champion has been consistent for far too long. Especially for how oppressive she feels.

It doesn't matter if you're ahead. It doesn't matter if you out cs. She WILL outscale you eventually.

She has so much pressure and trade potential in lane.

She has defensive tools (movement speed, shield, bonus armor and mr)

She has SO much shutdown potential.

There's no point in the game where she's straight up weak.

And she's picked very, very consistently, with no real downside.

I don't necessarily think she's op, I'm just tired of facing the same, oppressive champion over and over and over.

Also I've hated this champion since season 5 so please don't tell me "I just got rekt by an Orianna and now I'm QQ'ing".

By that reason Lux is pretty similar too. Jack of all trades but master of none.

Welp, another of one of the champions i absolutely despise. I'm starting to see a potential pattern.

I wouldn't make that description of orianna actually. No mage offers the raw utility she does while possessing her enormous damage threat. Certainly she's average in terms of damage compared to other mages, but other mages don't tend to make allies supercharged. I don't think that's a bad thing either, team oriented champions feel much more reasonable. Her damage is probably slightly too high and she's too safe in lane, both easily balanced out with slight adjustments.

I would say orianna is the easiest type of champion to balance because her gameplay is inherently unselfish so she never feels bad to play with, only to play against when too strong. That's much easier to balance than something that sucks to play with and sucks to play against.

I agree, Orianna is pretty op.

she was fine before they buffed her Q mana cost.

now she is just way too oppressive on lane for the amount of late game power she brings.

How to get upvotes: "I know I'll get downvoted but..."

I don't feel like she does anything too well besides teamfighting ofc. There are better champions for 1v1, mana, keeping someone alive etc. She kinda just dips her toes in a little of everything but doesn't do the best in the category. Just my opinion though. If anything her damage needs to be toned down, her W and R do so much on their own she doesn't even need to use her autos like Lux.

Yeah, she does everything. She doesn't specialize in anything (maybe except for teamfighting).

Exact same reason I dislike Ahri.

This statement is faulty. She's a champion that requires your team to play around her. If you do not play into her hand, especially if she is underfarmed, you will quickly see her trying to force ults and fail them. Pick long ranged comps that can pick people off from afar or poke comps that can whittle the enemy down to the point where it would be safe to clump (though is it ever really?).

But then I'll have no one to play because I suck at all champs other than mages... and even then I'm still not that good

This is a champ I can't seem to ban but when I go against her she fucking reks me and she bms me as if I am supposed to beat her easily with her infinite poke. She even harasses me under tower then ults me. I tried to go in on her to surprise her and I even juked her ult. Still got rekt. I hate Orianna.
