What would be the max amount of champs to play per role for ranks?

traditionally, you used to want 3 roles per lane that you could play well on or have mastered. but since you can now guarantee yourself to 2 lanes/positions only, you should know how to play at least 5 per role to guarantee you dont get banned out, and to guarantee you can contribute to the team.

ideally in bronze, just spam 1 or two champs and steamrole because you cant be countered.

in silver play strong team fight champs, because silvers dont know how to group fight.

gold+ start to develop your main position and find what works for you. here things like cs, timing objectives and warding spots will start to get you the wins moreso than your champion choice.

Since you can now play just two roles, 10 champs is all you really need. With 5 for each role, the chances that you get banned and picked out of one is REALLY low.
