Should I buy Vi or Elise for Jungling

I am level 26 and consider myself to be above average my my level, and I mostly play jungle. Currently I play a lot of Xin Zhao and I do very well with him. I am going to start playing ranked in a few more levels and am looking to expand my champion pool for junglers. I am looking for a jungler that will be able to both take and deal a significant amount of damage, but is also not TOO mechanically challenging, but will allow me to really help my team to win games so I can climb up the ladder. The two junglers that I have narrowed it down to are Vi and Elise . Both seem like very strong picks right now and Vi seems to historically be very able. My question is then should I go with either Vi or elise. I am also open to other champion suggestions if you are willing to explain why that champion would be better than the others. Thanks for any input.

Since you seem to like Xin, I'd recommend Vi between the two. Vi's kinda similar in that she has an ability to help hard engage (Q) and ability for which it's great to stack the passive while in battle (her W). She can go tanky or ad, but either way you can't go wrong. Elise is more of an AP formshifter champion, kinda different from Xin

Of those 2, defiantly Vi. Elise is more mechanically intense. Just my 2 cents.

jarvan iv or lee sin are the best version of xin

I'm not playing Lee Sin because he is simply too difficult to be played well at low elo.

I mean if you are looking for more bruisers like Xin that arn't really hard to learn/play... I could name a few... Nocturne Shyvana MonkeyKing and probably Udyr You can even check out Trick2g on twitch if you wanna learn Udyr.. His stream is full of tips. And the best part is.. Even though hes given a tip before, when he's playing the champ again he'll repeat it incase someone new is watching. If not he has youtube videos. If you spend about an hour listening to him you can learn a lot about udyr very quickly... But these are a few that i would recommend if you are trying to keep a somewhat simple champion pool. Champions like Lee Sin and Elise are probably a bit of a stretch if you are new to the game.

Go with vi imo. Elise is actually kinda hard to use well, even though she's incredibly powerful in the right hands right now. I'd also second the person suggesting j4, but not lee.

if you can use all of the skills and master the combos, elise is a terrible nightmare that can gank three lanes is a row without recalling after clearing her buffs and basically end the game.
