In what world is this fair? I just come back from base, Darius starts to trade with me under my own fucking tower, I make him tank 3 tower shots and I still lose the trade and I'm back to base again. What am I even supposed to do if I cant even stay under tower
I know how you feel about this subject in general. However, this is a bad example.
You arent under your tower when you chase Darius toward the middle of the lane while all of your abilities are on cooldown. Darius is supposed to kill tanks easily. That is what he was designed to do. You will never kill him with auto attacks on a tank champion. After you combo'd him you are suppose to stop chasing him....... wither him down, dont run at him like you are yasuo or Riven.
Should you be able to tank more? Probably, but you should also deal less damage as a result. The tank class in this game needs a lot of attention right now.
I can understand you chasing Darius because he’s low and you think you can kill him. But you sadly got a bit too greedy and didn’t respect his stacks until it was too late.

I’m gonna have to agree with Pandemic Punch on this one. Once you forced him away you should’ve turned your attention on the minions and not chased him. You have to remember that Darius has %armor pen built into his kit as well, he like killing tanks.
You did well to force him off, but that should've been the end of that fight, especially since you used ult for no confirmed kill. If I were you in that spot, I would’ve saved that first Q for after rooting him to knock him closer to the turret, then ult if you wanted to cut off his escape and take more shots or try to force a flash. In a Tank vs Darius, the tower is usually your best friend and you rarely want to chase them out into the middle of the lane unless allies are coming to help.
Edit: don’t get me wrong, I understand tanks are rough (Ornn is one of my main champs after all), but that video mainly shows a bad chase call.
Wtf do you mean you can't stay under tower you were fine under tower then you LEFT TOWER RANGE to get a kill. Daruis did not dive your tower and kill, he dove your tower and FAILED.
I also love that when your talking about how you died EVEN THOUGH WERE CAN SEE THE VIDEO you leave out of part when you fucking FOLLOWED HIM out of tower that is why you lost the trade and died you would of won if you don't chase.
There is nothing unfair in this clip mao should be not able to kill Darius and you died since you played bad nothing more nothing else.
Darius especially is an unfair champion, there are a lot of match ups that just can't be won against him.
tbf you are playing a cc tank that scale at team fighting and sustain tanking without any real damage to threat solo kills (correct me if im wrong on this one as i only see that tree as ult bot for my sylas). vs a champion known to shred ppl in extended fights.
you should have backed after your combo when he had like 30% health

Darius is a bad example. Most melee champs can't play against him. Tanks specifically since he gets that heal from Q every few seconds, magic/true damage (his passive still does magic right?) and armor pen.
The fact that most of the top lane roster can dive you with a modest lead is why i can't play top :\

you would have won this, if you knocked him back into the turret with your q after you went in with your w btw.
its at 00:06 seconds. you would have needed to take a tiny extra step behind him, but you blew your q already at the opening of the trade to push him out of the turret instead of into it.

While your point with tanks being trash is generally right, this example was quite a misplay on your side. you are not supposed to make long trades with darius because of his stacks. when he stacks he does absurd amount of damage. lets not ignore the fact he had a level advantage over you..
you should've gone out of the trade just before his second q. you pretty much lost when he hit his second q on you. you misplayed this scenario, but in general i agree, tanks are not good RN..
Being a juggernaut is much worse. At least tanks have a wealth of utility to fall back on. When the former is behind, they often can't do anything at all to turn things around.
Darius is meant to kill tanks.
He has anti tank mechanics in his kit for a reason.
Armor Penetration on E, True Damage ultimate.
Would have made all the difference.
